- Submit your application by the 15th of each month accompanied by five samples of your work. There is a $10 application fee, waived until August 2012, payable by credit card to cover administrative costs.
- If accepted, your artwork will be vetted by New York art world professionals for an additional fee of $125. You will be contacted by email with a link to pay the vetting fee.
- Your artwork and the jurors comments will be archived each month on artvetting.com.
- Exceptional work will be featured each month in a separate Featured Artist gallery section.
- Artvetting.com reserves the right to further promote certain artists by offering work for sale on the website and/or offering group or solo shows at a gallery space in Chelsea, epicenter of NY art, at their discretion.
Keep in mind. The jurors are hand-selected from art world professionals who work actively in the selection and exhibition of new artists and their work. We may occasionally have a guest curator; a well-known artist, gallerist, commentator or art world figure who will add a further dimension to the vetting process. The feedback from our jurors is direct and honest. We hope to demystify the system of how the art world works, and make it open and available to more people. There will be 12 sessions per year of only 10 artists each month.
The application period will begin with the first of the month and end at the 15th of the month. If your work is not selected for a particular month you can reapply at a later date.
